Songs of Hope, A Fundraiser for Haitian Orphans is an event Hosted by The Tacoma French Club and Music Giving Back and to benefit the Haitian orphans of BRESMA Orphanage in Petionville. The entry fee is at least $10 (more will be accepted). Donations will be made to Answered Prayers (www.answeredprayers2.org), a volunteer run Washington nonprofit established in 2002. The event will be held at The Swiss on Sunday, January 24 from 3pm-12am. Debbie Wooten, the Diva of Comedy, will be the MC and the musical lineup is diverse, including Voxxy Vallejo, Kim Archer Band, Daniel Blue of Motopony, Q Dot, Deborah Page, China Davis, Fuzz 58, Roberto Bonaccorso of Mangoson, Carlos Cascante and Julio Jauregui of Tumbao and others.

Ben Fuller of Music Giving Back is the music director and Ana Sierra of Developing Reslience is the event director.

It's that time of the year again for BREASTFEST! Our annual salute to our mothers with a huge pre-Mother's Day bash at the Swiss to help raise money for breast cancer research. Music Giving Back handpicks a different Susan G. Komen For The Cure 3-Day walk team each year for this event to help them raise money so they can participate in the 3-Day Walk. Each walker raises $2300 to walk the walk.
